Macauley Peterson has produced some great videos for round 5:
Mamedyarov - Gelfand started one hour earlier than the other games and was the first to finish.
Adams - Giri slowly petered out to a draw with little risk taken during the game.
The last game to finish was Dominguez - Nakamura and as usual Hikaru threw everything onto the board but this could have been very risky and Dominguez may have overlooked some winning chance at some point.
Ivanchuk essayed an early h4 against Grischuk's new pet line, the Gruenfeld, but this did not prove to give too much to white and a dynamic equality resulted.
Topalov - Leko was an exciting affair with Veselin sacrificing the exchange as is his normal practice. His attack was interesting but eventually dried up and Leko tried to utilise his extra exchange to some benefit.
Rustam had some interesting play against Wang Hao and despite trying could not make much from the slight initiative he had.
